WAS. is a space that opens its doors for people to dance, connect, or whatever feels right.
About us
WAS. is a place where new sounds are being explored, well-known sounds are embraced and people who love music can come together. We’d love for you to immerse yourself in the artists and the music that will be played. Break the daily grind, enjoy the night and dance!
Memorable moments and unity can’t exist without tolerance and a flexible attitude. Therefore it’s important that we respect our fellow visitors despite of their origin, gender, age or sexual orientation.
House rules & info
A few practical things before you step inside.
- All our events are 21+. You may be asked to show a valid ID when entering the club.
- Doors close at the time stated on the website or in the final info mail. After that, entry can no longer be guaranteed.
- If you’re visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs, we may refuse entry.
- To ensure an intimate experience, we ask visitors to arrive in small groups.
- Uniforms, football shirts, dress shirts and formal outfits can dilute the chance of entry.
- Re-entry is not possible.
- For everyone’s safety, bags may be checked upon entry.
Tickets, payment & lockers
- Can’t find your ticket in your mail? Go to weeztix.com/search and follow the provided instructions.
- We don’t sell tickets at the door. Buy in advance to ensure your visit.
- WAS. is a PIN-only venue.
- Lockers require a €2 coin or dummy token (available to buy at a machine directly next to the lockers).
- Please travel light. Lockers are intended for one small bag or backpack.
Inside the club
- To keep the dancefloor present, taking photos and videos is not permitted during our club nights. Your phone camera will be stickered upon entry, and we encourage you to keep your phone in your pocket or locker as much as possible.
- Smoking is only permitted in the designated outdoor area.
- We sell toasties and bananas at the canteen and earplugs at the bar.
- Be respectful of your surroundings inside and outside the club.
- WAS. cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen belongings. Reach out to info@was030.nl for lost items that might have been found.
Accessibility & social safety
The dance floor belongs to everyone.
All our toilets are gender neutral and WAS. is wheelchair accessible. An accessible toilet (closed for other visitors) is available: our staff is happy to open it for you.
WAS. exists to create space for curiosity, self-expression and shared moments through music. Everyone contributes to that atmosphere, including you. By entering the club, you agree to our house rules above and our code of conduct below. We have the right to refuse entry to those who don’t abide with these rules.
Racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia or any other kind of discrimination is absolutely not tolerated – neither is sexual harassment and/or violence. If you witness or experience any discomfort or unsafety, you can report this to our present staff (awareness team, bar crew, security and door hosts) at all times.
Code of conduct
Respect each other.
Everyone should feel welcome at WAS., regardless of gender identity, sexuality, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age or appearance. We have zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment or violence in any form.
Consent comes first.
Respect personal boundaries at all times. Consent is key and mandatory. No means no, only an enthusiastic yes means yes. This applies to conversations, dancing, and any form of physical contact.
Don’t assume, ask.
Ask, don’t assume, how someone identifies, including gender, pronouns, or sexuality.
Make space.
Everyone experiences the night differently. Be mindful of the people around you, give each other room to move, and treat the dance floor with care.
Stay present.
Our no-camera policy exists for a reason. Put your phone away, immerse yourself in the music and allow others to do the same.
Look out for one another.
If something doesn’t feel right, trust that feeling. If you experience or witness behavior that makes you or someone else uncomfortable, don’t hesitate to speak to any member of our team. We encourage you to travel together when leaving the club.
